House Atlantic Beach was in a serious need of a kitchen revamp. The old space was old; with classic details and the overall feel was harsh – we had to create an open contemporary warm space! The renovation consisted of removing an old floor to ceiling fire unit; replacing of floors and complete face lift on the kitchen. The tricky part for us was to re-inventive the kitchen from the old to the new by using the current carcasses and framework of the joinery, mission accomplished! Finishes applied were new: high gloss fronts; engineered stone tops; floating oak counter; coloured glass splash backs; LED lighting and stainless steel kitchen appliances. We replaced the fire unit with a floating high gloss unit with a drop in eco-fire unit, keeping the warmth with a contemporary touch!
