ANNA CORREIA GIVES HOLIDAY HOME A FACELIFT

Interior consultant Anna Correia was given a brief to give this house in Plettenberg Bay a facelift by embracing the personalities of those who occupy it. Focusing on family, every step taken was to give the homeowners the perfect holiday home to escape to during national, school and religious holidays to spend time with the family away from their busy routines.
The homeowners purchased the property with a majority of the current furniture in, however the change came in the form of texture, colour and carpeting. Anna changed the overall paint colour of the home using accent walls that had grasscloth wallpaper applied and installed new wall to wall carpeting in the bedrooms.
By starting with the foundation that was already there, the current furniture was upholstered with fresh new fabrics and covers; then they brought in custom pieces and layered them with beautiful fun accents and loose lay rugs.
The overall look and feel of the home was inspired by the Plettenberg area: coastal living inspired, with a touch of the Garden Route – lots of blues; greens and whites were carried through. This home now has a perfect feel for relaxed holiday vibes with a classic and contemporary feel.
